I pinch myself often living here in the Noosa hinterland. The colour is vibrant, the plants are flamboyant, the birds are singing and I always feel like Im on a holiday. This painting is about that feeling you get on a summer holiday in the tropics, its exciting and you never want it to end. A happy painting that entices you to dance along with the plant life!
My artworks are characterised by the mark making. I love to layer the paint and scratch or scrape through the wet paint to reveal underlying colour. Some areas are vigorous and energetic, others are more subtle but they work together to make this a statement piece for your home.
