Vibrant and colourful leaves jostle for space as they emerge from the dark undergrowth to the warm bright light typical of the sub tropics where I live. My bushland garden provides endless inspiration for my artworks, not just the flamboyant plants themselves but the way they interact with each other. It is a constant dance in the cool breezes as they show off their moves.
This original artwork has colour galore from dark plum burgundy, magenta, sienna and pops of bright yellow. Expressive brushstrokes and mark making ensure this piece is striking from a distance but provides so much more as you explore up close.
