Inspired by the 'Little Gem' Magnolia trees that are in my garden. I love the way the flowers open up and gradually display the centre stamen. As the bloom ages the petals begin to curl backward and lunge out. They contrast beautifuuly with the glossy green leaves and the surprise rust colour underneath side.
 
This artwork is expressive but has a soft colour palette that would sit easily in any room of the home.
